Brenda Yun received her MFA in Creative Writing (nonfiction) from Emerson College in Boston and her PhD in Creative Writing (fiction) from Bath Spa University in England. She spent several years as a travel writer and has taught English for over a decade. She has published poetry, nonfiction essays, and short fiction in print and online and is currently at work on two book-length projects – a memoir called Over the Hill and an untitled novel about three generations of a Chinese-American family.
